This is enough to manufacture batteries for approximately 500,000 electric vehicles. In addition to the existing geothermal power plants in Insheim and Landau, additional <a href=\"https:\/\/natuerlich-pfalz.eu\/bohrungen\/\">drilling sites<\/a> for geothermal energy are to be developed in the region to extract thermal water.<\/p>\n\n                  <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n                              <div class=\"col-12 md:col-6 space-y-6\">\n                                    <div>\n                    <p class=\"mb-last-item\">From these drilling sites, the lithium-rich thermal water is transported via pipelines to<a href=\"https:\/\/natuerlich-pfalz.eu\/optimierungsanlagen\/p\"> central facilities in Landau for lithium extraction<\/a> and for the generation of energy and heat. There, the extracted lithium chloride is converted into lithium hydroxide through electrolysis, which serves as the raw material for the battery industry.<br \/>\nVulcan works closely with regional energy providers to supply heat to the surrounding communities.
